The administration dashboard serves as the hub for all administrative actions you’ll need to take on Uniweb. The contents on the dashboard will change depending on your specific roles and the permissions you have.
Navigate to the administration dashboard.
Select the profile type from the left side panel.
Click the blue Add button.
Enter the information in the popup.
Click Save.
Navigate to the administration dashboard.
Select the profile type from the left side panel.
Click the green Import button.
Click Download template file.
Fill out the Excel template with the profile contents.
Return to Uniweb and click Choose.
Select the Excel workbook with the profile contents
Click Submit.
Navigate to the administration dashboard.
Select the profile type from the left side panel.
Click on the profile you want to edit.
In the slide out menu, modify the information as needed.
Click Save.
Members are one of the profiles that come with a lot of bulk actions. Below are all of the actions that can be taken and a brief description of their function.

Compare account data | This function allows you to compare the account data of Uniweb profiles with data in an excel spreadsheet |

Send activation email | Using this function, new members can be invited to activate their account using a link. |
Send password reset | Send a password reset link to members who have forgotten their password. |
Send generic message | Send a custom message to a selection of members. |
Check sent email status | Sending a large number of emails can take time. This function will show if there are still pending emails. |

Download CV and reports | Download either full CVs for members or reports based off CVs. This function works the same as downloading an individual CV or report, but in bulk. |
Download account data | Download a copy of account data to an Excel spreadsheet. The spreadsheet can be used as a backup. |
Assign delegates | This allows you to assign the same delegate to multiple accounts. |

Change account data | This function allows you to update account data from a spreadsheet. This will overwrite any information currently in the profile(s). |
Delete accounts | Permanently delete the selected accounts. |
Institutional profiles are profiles that are generated by your institution. These are profiles that cannot be generated by your users. Each different type of profile can be accessed and managed by clicking on the left panel.

Expert profiles | These are modified member profiles used for the experts database. |
Units | Units are profiles used to group members into various administrative bodies such as faculties, departments, etc. |
Resources | These are profiles that are created for specialized equipment, consultation services, or expertise. |
Disciplines | Disciplines are topics used to categorize experts within the experts database. |
Buildings | Buildings can be used to populate drop-down menus that your members can use on their CVs and profiles. It helps create consistency and make data entry easier. |
Courses | Similarly to buildings, courses can be used to populate drop-down menus that your members can use on their CVs and profiles. It helps create consistency and make data entry easier. |
Topics | Topics are used to connect researchers outside of their academic unit. |
Pages | Pages are used when generating websites. They can be used as custom pages in an automatically generated website. |
User generated profiles are the profiles that can be created by your individual members. In the administration page you can modify or delete them, provided you have the appropriate permissions.
