Download and Backups

Uniweb allows you to easily download your content to various file types in order to back up your information or aggregate information across content profiles.

Backing up Content Profiles

  1. Navigate to the Uniweb Dashboard.

  2. In the left side panel, select the type of content you want to back up.

  3. Check the boxes for all the content profiles you wish to back up.

  4. Click the

    and select Export Data.

  5. In the popup, ensure Uniweb Export Format (.uwx) is selected.

  6. Click Export.

  7. Wait for your download to complete. If you are exporting a large number of profiles it may take a few moments.

Uniweb Export Files can be reuploaded to Uniweb at a later date to completely restore a profile from the file.

Restoring from a local backup

  1. Navigate to the Uniweb Dashboard.

  2. In the left side panel, select the type of content you want to restore.

  3. Click

    and select Restore from file.

  4. In the popup, click Choose, and select the desired .uwx file from your computer.

  5. Click Upload. Note: you can restore multiple profiles at the same time.

  6. You will see a summary of the import as well as any dependencies necessary for the profile.

  7. If everything looks to be in order, click Restore selected.

Downloading Profile Data

You can also download data from profiles if you want to easily compare information across profiles or to make your own reports based on the profiles.

  1. Navigate to the Uniweb Dashboard.

  2. In the left side panel, select the type of content you want to restore.

  3. Click

    and select Export data.

  4. Specify the file type, either JSON or XLSX, depending on your preferences.

  5. Click Export.

  6. Wait for your download to complete. If you are exporting a large number of profiles it may take a few moments. If you select multiple profiles, a zip file will be downloaded with each profile as a separate file.
