Content Management

Folders

Folders allow you to essentially group and use content primarily for websites and reports.

When you create a website, a folder will automatically be created for that website, but you can always create a standalone folder and connect that to a website at a later date.

Adding Content to a Folder

  1. Navigate to the folder you want to add content to. Note: if you are working with a website, navigate to the website and click the folder icon in the top navigation bar on the website profile

  2. Click

    next to the Contents label.

  3. Select one of the options from the menu and follow the steps in the popup menu. Note: you can also create new content profiles directly from a folder by selecting new content at the very bottom of the drop-down menu.

Smart Folders

Smart folders let you automatically collect content as it’s published. Simply set your criteria within a standard folder’s smart subfolder, and any matching content will be added for you—no manual sorting required. Add as many rules as you like to keep your folders effortlessly organized.

Removing Content From a Folder

  1. Navigate to the folder you want to remove content from.

  2. Click on the

to the right of the item name inside the folder.

  3. Click Delete.

You can select multiple items in a folder by holding command (mac) or control (windows) and delete them using the trash icon in the top toolbar.

Linking a folder to a website

  1. Navigate to the website that you want to link with a folder.

  2. Click the

at the top of the page.

  3. Under Live content input, select the folder you want to link from the drop-down menu.

Every website automatically has a default folder created for it. By selecting a different folder, the default folder will not be used so ensure all your website content is included in the new folder you’re linking.
