Edit an Article
The article editor is simple by design, simply write free from any distractions.
Text formatting—headings, bold, italics, colours, lists, quotes, and more—can be accessed through the context menu by highlighting text. You can also use this context menu for uploaded media simply by clicking on the media.
Content Blocks
Articles allow for a number of rich content blocks to be added. To use these, create a new line and click the plus icon to the left of the typing indicator. This works for adding things like images, videos, tables, math equations, alert boxes and more.
Publishing and Sharing an Article
You have a number of options for publishing and sharing articles depending on what you want to do with it.
Add Article to a Website
If you want to add your article to a website, say for example to appear in a blog section, follow these steps:
From the article editor, click Add to Site in the article toolbar.
Select the site from the list. Note: you can add one article to multiple sites, simply select multiple sites from the list.
Click Add.
Share Standalone Article
Say you want to share an article you wrote on social media, but don’t have a full website. You can create a link for the article and share it directly on the web.
From the article editor, click Create URL in the article toolbar.
Set a custom slug for your article. This is usually the title without spaces, capitals, or punctuation marks, but you can enter whatever you like. Note: you can click generate to use your article title as the slug. Uniweb will automatically replace spaces with dashes.
Optional: Click check availability to see if your URL is available.
Click Save.
Share Article Privately with a collaborator
If you want to share an article with a selection of people, maybe to edit, review, or translate, you can do so privately without making your article public.
From the article editor, click Access in the article toolbar.
Enter the name of the person you want to share the article with.
Specify permission level (either view only, or editor).
Click Save.
