Content Profiles
Video
The Uniweb video profile lets you showcase your story through video. Its purpose is to give viewers a dynamic, engaging introduction to who you are or what you do—making your presence more memorable than text alone.
Create a Video
Navigate to the content manager in Uniweb.
Click Create.
Hover over Media and select Video.
Enter the basic information as you like. You can always edit it later.
Upload a video from your computer or enter a link from Youtube/Vimeo—not both.
Click Create.
Edit a Video
Edit the Banner
Navigate to the profile
Click on the
in the top right corner of the placeholder banner or your current banner.Click Add photo
Select the photo from your computer
Click Save once you see your picture uploaded. Optionally, you can click edit to adjust the crop or add simple adjustments to your image.
Edit Basic Information
Basic Information includes the title, type, published date, and other things like that. To edit the basic information:
Navigate to the profile.
Click on the
to the right of your profile content, opposite the name.Edit the information necessary.
Click Save.
Publishing and Sharing a Video
You have a number of options for publishing and sharing profiles depending on what you want to do with it.
Add to a Website
If you want to add your profile to a website follow these steps:
From the profile editor, click Add to Site in the toolbar.
Select the site from the list. Note: you can add one profile to multiple sites, simply select multiple sites from the list.
Click Add.
Share Standalone Profile
Say you want to share a profile on social media, but don’t have a full website. You can create a link for the profile and share it directly on the web.
From the profile editor, click Create URL in the toolbar.
Set a custom handle for the profile. This is usually the title without spaces, capitals, or punctuation marks, but you can enter whatever you like. Note: you can click generate to use your profile name as the handle. Uniweb will automatically replace spaces with dashes.
Optional: Click check availability to see if your URL is available.
Click Save.
Share Privately with a collaborator
If you want to share a profile with a selection of people, maybe to edit, review, or translate, you can do so privately without making your profile public.
From the profile editor, click Access in the profile toolbar.
Enter the name of the person you want to share the profile with.
Specify permission level (either view only, or editor).
Click Save.
